The St. Louis Times has been publishing, entertaining, and informing older adults since 1994. Our signature publication is the St. Louis Times Resource Guide, which is published in both online and hard copy editions. The online edition includes the area’s largest searchable database of available resources and information for older adults. The full-color hard copy edition, used extensively by professionals and lay people alike, is published annually each August. Both editions are commonly referred to as our area’s “Industry Bible” when it comes to providing resources for our aging population.
The St. Louis Times Resource Guide is endorsed by Missouri’s Governor and Attorney General, Illinois Department on Aging, St. Louis Area Agency on Aging (SLAAA), Mid-East Area Agency on Aging (MEAAA), Area Agency on Aging of Southwestern Illinois, the St. Louis County Older Resident Programs (CORP), OASIS, Healthy Communities of St. Charles Senior Task Force, Breakthrough Coalition, and more.
The St. Louis Times Resource Guide (hard copy edition) is distributed to geriatric physicians, geriatric care/case managers, health practitioners, outpatient coordinators, professional caregivers, geriatric educators, social workers, elder law attorneys, federal and state agencies, hospitals and health centers, senior centers, over 1,500 aging-focused organizations (both for profit and non-profit), colleges and universities, retirement communities, libraries, health fairs and more. As an ISBN registered publication it is copyright protected. In addition to being offered free of charge through the above outlets, it is also available for sale throughout the year at area bookstores such as Borders, Barnes & Noble's, and can be ordered online at this website as well.
The St. Louis Times Resource Guide includes detailed listings of organizations and resources that span the Missouri counties of St. Louis, St. Louis City, Jefferson, Franklin and St. Charles. The publications also include resources for the Illinois counties of Bond, Clinton, Madison, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair and Washington. If your organization provides information, services or products for older adults in our coverage area, we can help you get your message out to those who need it most.
