What is a St. Louis Times Funfest?

Over 75 St. Louis Times Funfest events have been hosted since their start in January 2000, with an average attendance of almost 700 attendees per event! Developed specifically for the baby boomer / 60+ population, participating communities throughout St. Louis have hosted these events for their communities active, older adults. From the St. Louis Science Center to Harrah's Casino, the Missouri History Museum, Orlando Gardens, Queeny Park, the Maryland Heights Centre, and so many more terrific venues, St. Louis Times Funfest events get better with age.

Each event, depending on the venue and available space, usually offers 50 - 75 exhibitor booths, free health screenings, live entertainment, bingo, games, and more - all for free. Even better,St. Louis Times Funfest events always leave everyone walking away with a smile on their face and a bag full of "goodies!"

The last St. Louis Times Funfest was on September 30, 2008 at the Maryland Heights Centre with live entertainment by ELVIS impersonator Steve Davis. We sold out of our available 50 exhibitor booths and a dozen health screenings in less than one week! All attendees also received a free copy of the new St. Louis Times Resource Guide. In fact, it went so well we're returning for 2009. And new for 2009, St. Louis Times Funfest will include a JOB FAIR section of exhibitor booths along with a dozen employment information breakout sessions! So please join us Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Maryland Heights Centre. And don't forget to check back periodically to find out what else we're planning to make this year's event the best ever!
