What is a St. Louis Times Funfest?
Over 75 St. Louis Times Funfest events have been hosted since their start in January 2000, with an average attendance of almost 700 attendees per event! Developed specifically for the baby boomer / 60+ population, participating communities throughout St. Louis have hosted these events for their communities active, older adults. St. Louis Times Funfest events have been hosted at venues such as the St. Louis Science Center, Harrah's Casino, Missouri History Museum, Orlando Gardens, Queeny Park, Maryland Heights Centre, and many more terrific community venues. One things for sure: St. Louis Times Funfest events get better with age! Each event, depending on the venue and available space, usually offers 50 - 75 exhibitor booths, free health screenings, live entertainment, bingo, games, and more - all for free. Even better,St. Louis Times Funfest events always leave everyone walking away with a smile on their face and a bag full of goodies! For 2011 we've got three St. Louis Times Funfest events planned. Our 79th St. Louis Times Funfest will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Orlando Gardents (4300 Hoffmeister) and our 80th St. Louis Times Funfest will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Maryland Heights Centre. We're especially excited though about the debut of our newest St. Louis Times Funfest for Grandparents & Grandchildren - In Honor of National Grandparents Day. It will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Missouri History Museum. The event will be free, open to the public, and run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This indoor/outdoor event will offer everyone a fun-filled and educational day to laugh and learn together. The event is for everyone, regardless of age, including grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren. The event will include two car shows, exhibits, live entertainment, games, and more.
